At Dare to Dream Aviation, we offer high-quality aircraft rentals to qualified pilots. Whether you're looking to fly our Diamond DA40 or one of our Cirrus aircraft, we have clear rental requirements to ensure safety and proficiency.

Cirrus SR20 SR22 Over Water

Renter Requirements

Diamond DA40/ DA40NG

  • Minimum 5 hours in make/model required.​

If you do not meet this requirement, expect at least a 5-hour checkout flight with one of our instructors.

  • Insurance:

    • DA40- Bodily Injury/Property $250,000. Hull $50,000

    • DA40NG- Bodily Injury/Property $1,000,000. Hull $100,000

Cirrus SR20

  • Must have a Cirrus Transition Certificate.

  • Minimum 5 hours in make/model required.

If you do not meet this requirement, expect at least a 5-hour checkout flight with one of our instructors.

  • Insurance:

    • Bodily Injury/Property $1,000,000. Hull $100,000

Cirrus SR22

  • Must have a Cirrus Transition Certificate.

  • Must be Instrument Rated.

  • Minimum 5 hours in make/model required.

If you do not meet this requirement, expect at least a 5-hour checkout flight with one of our instructors.

  • Insurance:

    • Bodily Injury/Property $1,000,000. Hull $100,000
